Magic The Gathering has become the largest TCG in the world. The franchise has spawned a huge following and video games to cope with over 11,000 unique cards. Among these cards are some that are crazy expensive considering what they are but here’s a list of the 10 most expensive in the world!

10. Timetwister

Price: $700

What a card this is, you can see the effect can completely turn a game around and the cost is unbelievable.

9. Mox Jet

Price: $805

Next on the list we have a very powerful black card, as you can see it has no cost so it is a very useful card for any black deck.

8. Mox Emerald

Price: $899.95

Here we have the green version of the previous entry, more expensive due to it being slightly rarer.

7. Mox Pearl

Price: $911

White version of the previous 2 entries.

6. Ancestral Recall

Price: $920

Another great blue card. Lots of players love to run milling decks so this card would fit in perfectly, giving you 2 very good options. Sure it has a high mana cost but the usefulness and rarity make it so valuable.

5. Time Vault

Price: $924

This card essentially allows you to control your flow of turns, taking double turns where needed and skipping turns when not needed. If played correctly, this card can decide the game.

4. Mox Sapphire

Price: $1029

We’ve hit $1000 and we’re only 4th in the list! This is the blue version of the previous Mox cards, it is much rarer which makes up for the price inflation.

3. Tropical Island

Price: $1050

A very unique and rare card, tropical island completely replaces the land in green/blue mixed decks.

2. Time Walk

Price: $1356

An insane 7 word effect, for just 2 mana you can give yourself an extra turn? OP as hell, glad this is so expensive so no one ever uses one against me.

1. Black Lotus

Price: $1574-$3051

Arguably one of the most legit OP cards in TCG history and possibly the most expensive. This card is very powerful which is why it is the most expensive Magic The Gathering card in the world!
